Bringing together the worlds of Hollywood and MMA, the sold-out event was attended by many noted celebrities, including film star Danny Trejo (“Machete”), General Hospital’s Sean Kanan and wife Michele Kanan, NASA Engineer and meme sensation Bobak Ferdowsi, WEC Bantamweight Chad George, UFC’s Francisco ‘Cisco’ Rivera, Jake Ellenberger and Lorenz Larkin to name a few.

Badbeat 9, presented by Budweiser, showcased an exciting and aggressive fight card with 10 professional MMA fights. The night began and ended with electrifying submissions, stoppages and knockouts throughout the night, with only three of the bouts going the full distance of three rounds.

In a Badbeat 9 preliminary bout, Reign Training Center and Boiler Room fighter Nick Jordan (2-1) extended his winning streak to two by earning a unanimous decision victory over Luis Iniguez (2-5-1).

Last week video gamers converged on the Los Angeles Convention Center as it was the epicenter for a preview of this year’s and next year’s upcoming computer and video games. The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, was attended by approximately 40,000 game industry professionals. Check out the E3 photo gallery to get a glimpse of what the E3 Expo consists of.

With the expo being close to Hollywood, E3 attendees walking by L.A. Live were surprised with a free performance by Snoop Dogg and appearances by actors Michael Pena and Michelle Rodriguez. Badbeat 9, presented by Budweiser, showcased an exciting and aggressive fight card with 10 professional MMA fights. The night began and ended with electrifying submissions, stoppages and knockouts throughout the night, with only three of the bouts going the full distance of three rounds.

In his last appearance in the cage, Scott ‘K.O.’ Catlin (8-8) took on Gabe Ruediger (18-8). For both men it was a rematch and retirement fight. In their first fight, Catlin knocked out Ruediger in the second round at Badbeat 5. At the end of the night for Badbeat 9, Ruediger earned a second-round submission (armbar) victory against Catlin. Though he didn’t get the victory, Catlin showed the grit and true sportsmanship expected from a professional MMA athlete.

BAMMA USA, known for promoting top tier professional mixed martial arts fighters, hosted their biggest event yet, Badbeat 9, on May 31 at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA.

Bringing together the worlds of Hollywood and MMA, the sold-out event was attended by many noted celebrities, including film star Danny Trejo (“Machete”), General Hospital’s Sean Kanan and wife Michele Kanan, NASA Engineer and meme sensation Bobak Ferdowsi, WEC Bantamweight Chad George, UFC’s Francisco ‘Cisco’ Rivera, Jake Ellenberger and Lorenz Larkin to name a few.

Badbeat 9, presented by Budweiser, showcased an exciting and aggressive fight card with 10 professional MMA fights. The night began and ended with electrifying submissions, stoppages and knockouts throughout the night, with only three of the bouts going the full distance of three rounds.

In a Badbeat 9 preliminary bout, Systems Training Center fighter and BadbeatMMA veteran Terrion Ware (6-2) captured a KO victory over Bobby Sanchez (13-23). The highlight reel knockout earned Ware the Badbeat 9 Knockout of the Night Performance Award, presented by Be First Clothing.
