Former WEC LW champion and UFC veteran Gabe ‘Godzilla’ Ruediger came into Badbeat 5 (March 16th, 2012) heavily favored against relatively unknown MMA veteran Scott Catlin. Though Ruediger was a heavy favorite, it was the heavy-handed ‘K.O.’ Catlin who came out with a 2nd round knockout victory. With the win, Badbeat MMA veteran Scott ‘K.O.’ Catlin will headline Badbeat 6 against jiu-jitsu specialist and Strikeforce veteran Bill ‘The Grill’ Cooper. Badbeat 6 will be held at the world famous Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA on Friday, July 13th. Catlin is eager to make his return at Badbeat 6.
